Fall on the Mountain

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to go along on one of my husband's business trips.  Lucky, because it was to Copper Mountain, a beautiful mountain ski resort.  Now I don't ski, so I'm not terribly likely to ever visit Copper in the winter :)  It doesn't matter, the fall season is just breathtaking.  I even included a couple of the inspiration photos on the preview because if I hadn't you wouldn't believe I didn't just make that palette up after drinking several adult beverages ;)  Ma Nature sure does love her some color, and I'm totally ok with that!

The kit includes 15 patterned papers and 8 shabby solids:

And I managed to scrap some of the inspiration photos!

As you can see, it's pretty versatile!  Fall on the Mountain will be available at The Digichick through Sunday at the new introductory sale price (30% off) so scoop it up and scrap your beautiful fall!

A little sneak peek, and a chance to win!

It's Fall, it's fresh, and color is abundant - coming Thursday to The DigiChick:

Would you like a chance to win it?  Leave me a comment here and I'll be back later to choose a winner!  (and since, statistically the first poster doesn't have great odds, I will automatically give the kit to the FIRST poster, too).

County Fair- Farm & Garden

It's heading into the harvest-y time of year that I love so much!  In keeping with the County Fair theme from last week, here's a kit that will celebrate harvest and homegrown goodies and so much more.  And the color palette is the same as County Fair, so the whole kit and kaboodle will work together :)

(not gonna lie, I love these papers!)

And there's a yummy set of neutral patterns to give you added flexibility with both kits:

If you missed County Fair you are in luck, you can buy the whole big bundle at a special savings!

And last, some inspiration from my talented crew :)  I thought there were a lot of fun inspiration ideas here!

County Fair

In some parts of the country, the County Fair comes along much later in the year - I love these "verging on Fall" events and wanted to be able to capture some of the fun.  Those of you who know me know that I'm not a particularly "theme-y" sort of person - I like a kit to be flexible and useful for many different events.  County Fair has a lot of patterny and cheerful papers that work well with the festive theme, but they are basically theme neutral.

There are really SO many aspects to a fair.  We often think of the rides, and that's definitely a fun part, but there's so much more!  I've included a set of vintage animals to capture that aspect - great for scrapping pets, farm visits, petting zoos...

There's also a set of more rustic backgrounds with some darker tones - I love the distressed painted wood papers.

Of course they are available bundled, too, for extra savings :)

Little Princess and a new Photo Project 4x6

So, last week I complained about pastels and how hard they are for me to scrap with.  And then I designed a new kit that is essentially pastel.  Because let's face it, these colors are PRETTY.  And little girls need to be scrapped with pretty things :)  Even if they are little puppy girls (see my layout at the bottom).  And I need to just be quiet and learn how to scrap pastel-y, LOL.  So, for the little Princess in your life, I present this charming minikit:

And one from me :)

I also have another addition to The Photo Project 4x6 collection.  This entry contains 4 diptychs - a single card featuring two photos that complement each other:

And an example:
Here I have combined a detail photo at the top, with the full panoramic view at the bottom. I think I may tweak it and use the black background since the sky is so pale in the pictures.  Because I have included the files in layered form, you can clip whatever paper you want to the bottom layer :)

Little Princess and The Photo Project 4x6 - Diptychs  are available through Sunday at the introductory sales price, all set for your weekend scrapping :)  Have fun!
