I've been working the last few days on a new kit; the color palette was one my daughter used for an event at the wedding venue where she works, and I loved it.  So happy, a little vintage-y, and just cheerful!

Best part is that it's on sale for $2, just like EVERYTHING IN MY STORE!  Happy iNSD!

Spring Rain

I had to laugh; when I picked this palette and name, our weather was absolutely gorgeous.  Now that I'm done with it, we've had rain, fog, thunderstorms, hail, and even rumors of a tornado in the area.  I guess I'll pick something a little brighter next time :)  Or maybe I should just call the next one "show me the money!"

So here, for better or worse, LOL is Spring Rain:

Feelin' Scrappy

I've kind of been in the mood to scrap lately; it's nice when that happens.  Today is "Walk on the Wild Side" Day, it turns out.  I'm not feeling quite that adventurous, but I thought I'd scrap a little bit wild:

This was done with an older kit, Mad as a Hatter.  It's one of my favorites; the colors are fun and the fur frames make me smile.  I turned the page into a quickpage with separate Wild Child word art, you can download it HERE if you aren't feeling like walking too far on the wild side ;)

I'll admit to a certain fondness for old shirts that have gotten soft and smooth with time, or furniture that has softened with age.  It's that feeling I had when I created this kit.
